Fire Mike Shanahan

This is the official blog petitioning whoever to fire the Denver Bronco's head coach. My reason and explanation follows below.
For the past three seasons now, the Denver Bronco's have enjoyed a good cup of coffee at the Pepsi Center watching the Avalanche play hockey. This has not been because Denver has a lack of coaching or poor attitude's. It's because Mike Shanahan is in the ranks with some of the worst General Managers/coaches to walk the sidelines. Mike is a good coach do not get me wrong. He gives his team a good shot on every Sunday, but his scouting and management skills are well below professional. I do not think he would even make the scouting staff at one of America's worst college football programs. He drafts halfway decent on offense while his defensive choices remain somewhat sketchy. Look at our offense compared to our defense. Here is the comparison: Brandon Marshall, Jay Cutler, (clinton portis), Eddie Royal, and (champ bailey). Notice I put two people in perenthesis because they were not drafted by Denver. They were drafted by other teams who had better idea's of where their teams would stand come January. Mike has no idea he is driving his team into the worst defensive unit ever to play the game.
With that point well noted I would like to put this to rest and hopefully leave with a better season next year. Maybe we'll get some defense.

Sports Query

I've created another blog to rant in. This time it's not just general shit, it's sporting shit. Lets get down to the nitty gritty and talk about my favorite hockey team: The Colorado Avalanche. If you want to know how bad things have become in the rockies, watch the Green Bay Packers on any given Sunday. That analogy goes to the afterlife a team floats to soon after a legend leaves the team. Brett Favre left Green Bay and they almost look like a squad with an accountant as a quarterback. Can't say much for those Avalanche, or their fans while we are at it. For two seasons we have chanted to get Jose Theodore out of Colorado, yet no one up top in the Avs' organization listened. I mean who am I, Just another $58 on top of their salary. If I was the GM I would be pouring idea's from fans who get aggrivated at sloppy play. Reflect back for an instance, look at the 2006-2007 avs' team. Before they signed Hannah, or brought any other superstars to our squad, we had a dilemma in the net. Should we leave Theodore(who in my mind does not deserve to have his name capitalized), or put a then reliable Budaji in net? Well here's a mini break down in my opinion. Theodore has problems, the biggest one is that he is left handed in net. Oh yeah, this affects everything, I am not just talking about rebounds or missed opportunities. Most shooters fire to the right side of the net, right at Theodore's glove. Now in any normal situation, this would result in a block and a rebound because their is no trapper on right handed goalies. Not with Theodore, he catches the puck where the majority of his team is set up for a rebound, and yet he rebounds where the majority of his team is playing zone. Back to the two goalies, Budaji deserves a shot because he was back up. He earned his right to play and also lost it. All this came tumbling down last year when Detroit came to town. We lost in 5 and Theodore didn't say shit until his June free agency. He left Colorado with another dissapointment. Ok, on to some more smoke....Joe Sakic is a great player. He has games under his belt to prove it. Unfortunatley he has too many games under his belt. His belt is graying with the sagging of his face. This guy is becoming slower and slower, yet we keep bolstering him up for another year. Yet has Colorado drafted someone who could grow into Sakic's shoes, so now we will be left with total disfunction come Sakic's retirement. Two goalies who are still learning and a center who is not a leader, never been under pressure, and is working his way into the league, all while Colorado continues to charge one of the highest admissions prices in the league. I've got a great idea for the Avs, they have to play another team for rights to the Pepsi center, that way when they suck, our admission prices don't go up. However when they are good, and worthy of my pocket book, I'll pay good money to see them throttle the opponent.

Until then,
